最近的两件事情让我觉得形成很有趣的对比，一是美联储和华尔街的人挤在一起，抓耳挠腮想要搞清楚次贷危机的影响能有多大，究竟还能做点什么避免危机走向不可收拾，二是物理学家们集结在欧洲，人为的制造"大爆炸"，希望能够借此对我们的宇宙有更深刻的理解。这两件事情的共同点是，两件事情都有数量巨大的理论物理学家参与。这两件事情的巨大不同是，一边是人类自己制造出来的东西，人类却搞不清楚究竟是怎么回事；一边是创造了人类的东西，人类却试图搞明白这个东西。

我真的觉得人类在科学领域的进展神速和在社会领域的进展缓慢，有时甚至是倒退，实在不知是人类之福还是人类之祸。

对于刘翔的退赛,个方有不同的说法,但是挺黄健翔的还是多一些,黄键翔是怎么说的呢?下面转来一段
体育场上没有常胜将军，失败了的运动员不是叛徒和懦夫，不低人一等，不是犯了错误，更不是供大众发泄的出气筒。如果按照某些人的逻辑，中国的运动员要么别当奥运冠军，要么当上了就不能输，必须永远赢下去，否则就从神坛跌进地狱，那思想深处的问题肯定不是运动员的。
有人振振有辞地在我的博客里留言说：刘翔就是欠了我的！我当然有权批评刘翔是逃兵，因为我是纳税人，他花了国家那么多钱，里面有我的贡献。
按照这个逻辑，每一个参加奥运会的中国运动员都必须获得点什么，否则都对不起纳税人。首先那些优势项目拿金牌就是应该的，必须的，拿银牌都是失败，是渎职，是过失；而那些根本拿不了什么名次的队伍和选手，比如男子曲棍球和水球之类的，比如中国代表团数百名选手里那些最终胸前没有奖牌可挂的，连第一轮预赛都不能通过的，是不是都在浪费纳税人的钱？都该骂？
呵呵,我想说的是,我没有希望LX能够蝉联冠军,但是我至少应该完成比赛吧,虽然说奥林匹克精神已经在这个国家被歪曲的不成样子,但至少一名运动员要对自己的职业负责一些,不需要你对别人负责,只对自己就OK了.
